Job Title: Communications Team Leader
Reports to: Corporate Communication Senior Manager
Managing Relation with media and digital media Stakeholder, Plan, implement and oversee all aspects of external communication, News story writing, and media coverage.
1- Introduce and implement plans for managing strategic relationships with key Media and digital media stakeholders.
2- Introduce and managing annual calendar of activities to engage with media stakeholders.
3- In charge of company’s External and Internal Messages (e.g. Press releases, TV Magazine and video scripts. Internal Comms messages.. etc)
4- Supervising the production and distribution of Newsletters, advertorials and other printed material
5- In charge of the content and production of Zain’s monthly TV and Radio magazines.
6- Responsible of timely coverage of all Zain Activities in Printed press and digital media
7- Responsible of company’s media plans of new productions and services.
8- Liaise with commercial stakeholder to introduce PR plans in parallel with the brand communication plans to support in educating Zain customers about the new products and services
9- Managing and monitoring all PR materials and perform media analysis and consult with media related vendors.
10- Gathering accurate information to compose company’s CEO and CXO’s, and Directors speeches in events
11- Conduct informed research and provide assessment of competitors’ coverage in various media outlets, and identify and make available significant newspaper and magazine articles to top management and PR team.
12- Coordinate with the website team and act as PR reference with regard to press releases and announcements.
13- Maintain a meaningful relationship with other departments and centres
14- Plan ahead for managing media crisis, and keep track of updating plans in coordination with internal stakeholders
15- Managing Companies Press conferences, Media Briefs.
16- Insuring the Linguistic accuracy and the overall content of video and other media Productions
17- Keep and retrieve PR documents and articles.
18- Introduce Plans, Process and agreed SLAs with internal stakeholders to keep Zain Website updates with the needed information
19- Liaise with Zain Group Corporate comms to handle Sudan OPCO related tasks
20- Undertake any additional relevant tasks/activities as delegated by the line manager
