Job Title: Corporate Sustainability Manager
Reports to: Senior Director Corporate Communication
The Corporate Sustainability is concerned with developing and implements sustainability strategies that are specific to mobile telco to maintains a negligible environmental impact, CS manager also responsible for
Operating on a large scale, focusing on big-picture elements such as marketing strategy, budgeting, and internal and external company communication, educating employees about company policy to handle potentially deleterious environmental impacts, he is Also responsible for developing and assimilating tools and processes which enhance business and individual capability, in a way which develops a positive and healthy organizational culture, upholds business principles and values, and maintains accountability for the effects of business and individual actions on all stakeholders including society at large and the environment..
1-Monitoring and evaluating the firm’s production, as they relate to sustainability and compliance with regulations
2-Identifying areas where the firm can lessen its environmental impact
3-Writing reports that detail the results and evaluations of Zain efforts and presenting information to management with recommendations
4-Setting guidelines that govern the interplay between the firm and the surrounding environment
5-Ensuring the firm’s compliance with all state and federal environmental legislation
6-Collaborating with various departments to incorporate sustainability practices and set environmental conservation goals
7-Leading training sessions and workshops on sustainability practices and policies for firm employees
8-Implementing changes in corporate strategy to make the work environment and practices more eco-friendly; communicating these changes to human resources managers, colleagues, vendors, press, and other relevant parties.
9-Monitoring the corporation’s sustainability performance, and liaise with Zain Group Corporate Sustainability
10-Analyzing and auditing corporate activities (i.e. the process of waste elimination)
11- Provide guidance, managing and in the planning and implementation of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
12- Support the delivery of business strategy, objectives, goals and targets through the effective engagement, deployment and development of people.
13- Using internal communication to reinforce the company’s social responsibility policies
14- Work with the corporate communications team and other departments to realize the vision, mission and goals of Zain corporate Sustainability.
15- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify industries of interest and define a methodology to evaluate and activate mentorship and incubator programs.
16- Establish CSR governance and ensure internal and external compliance to achieve targets
17- Preparing a matrix of proposed CSR action in coordination with Media Manger, and Internal Communication coordinators – mange Internal and External communications.
18- Insure compliance with all applicable policies & regular requirements on Information Security.
