Job Title: ATL & Outdoors media

Reports to: Media Team leader

Job Purpose: Give support to the advertisement team to execute the application of Above the line advertising through media such as TV, cinema, radio, print, banners and outdoors of all types and search engines to promote brands. Major uses include television and radio advertising, web and Internet banner ads, and to execute the application of the marketing mix to the existing and future ZAIN product /service range to maximise profitability, and to develop of the effective Above-the line advertising & promotion techniques. Improve competitive position and enhance brand awareness and company reputation and image, Reporting to the media team leader.

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:



  1. Follow up marketing ATL Media practices execution according to approved plan.
  2. Supervise the Monitoring & tracking efforts of the entire ATL within the regions to be in it appropriate status.
  3. Responsible of the Financial / Pr Processing of All ATL & Outdoor Practices.
  4. Insure that all the ads are updated due to the running campaign.
  1. Manage competitive intelligence ATL efforts of the with our mdia bookers activities.
  2. Support the Advertising activities for the ZAIN brand values and act as custodian of the company image to enhance competitive positioning.
  3. Be able to measure the effectiveness of the Above the line communications outputs in various different ways
  4. Develop and implement marketing campaigns in line with overall goals and objectives.
  5. Supervise the Monitoring & tracking efforts of the entire outdoors within the regions to be in it appropriate status.
  6. Work closely with design team/agency to develop a clear brand identity and incorporate key ideals across all marketing platforms.

  8. Responsible for the entire outdoors related to Zain in the all regions of Sudan.
  9. Provides administrate support and activities in the execution of the advertising plan to promote brand and increase and improve market share, market penetration, customer satisfaction and retention.
  10. Input into creating and sustaining a high achievement/high performance culture.
  11. Doing intelligence efforts of the competition activities.
  12. Undertake any additional relevant tasks/activities as delegated by the Advertising department.

  • Administrative support in the development of the Annual Marketing Media Production Plan

  • Coordinates and supports the hosting of corporate events

What Do You Need to Qualify


Qualifications/Experience:
  • Educated to B.A. level
  • Relevant Professional Marketing/Business qualification is mandatory
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in an administrative role (Media/ /Production) in a private sector organisation is mandatory
  • International management experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate in Arabic and English is mandatory

Knowledge:
  • Understanding of all elements of the Marketing Mix.
  • In-depth understanding of the Sudan market and ZAIN business strategy, goals and competitive environment
  • In depth understanding of administrative policies, methods and procedures
  • Knowledge of current best practice Advertising channels, methods and approaches
  • Relevant IT understanding
  • Mobile Telecommunications product/market knowledge

  • Highly developed communication and reporting skills (verbal and written)
  • Planning and organising skills
  • Highly developed skills in use of relevant IT packages including Excel. Word, PowerPoint etc.
