Job Title: Advertising Media & Production TL

Reports to: Media & Trade Marketing Manager

Job Purpose:
Achieve company advertising strategy on all Media, manage a large budget and insuring company is receiving maximum benefits from results. Work closely with internal &; external partner to conveying and Producing all audio video and all prints advertisements and messages of products, services &; promotions.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
1. 1. Participate in the development of all advertising communication TV, radio, newspapers, online digital and in-house Media creative and lead the media strategy

2. Ensure all advertising communication meets ZAIN standards and objectives, is on time and on budget

3. May Work in close partnership with external Media agencies on all creative initiatives

4. Track advertising effectiveness such as top of mind awareness, recall, brand linkage, etc. in cooperation with Marketing research &; external research advisors.

5. Communicate the advertising Media plans and results with the Product, sales, stores and other stakeholders

6. Manage the advertising Media team on developing campaigns and its suitable mean of Advertisement

7. Work closely and manage the monitoring agency and the media booking agency, make sure that the plans are on the right track and we are aligned with the media strategic goals

8. Give special consideration to the online and the digital medias, as they are becoming one of the most effective medias

9. Responsible for all the productions of the advertisements whither Audio, Video, , prints or digital stuff

10. Apply strong project management skills to deliver projects on time and within the Budget as well as identify potential obstacle and create plans to overcome them

11. Identifying and create good relations with the production houses and try to achieve the best possible prices over the quality that suites Zain standard

12. Monitor and report on activities created and deployed by the media that are Likely to enhance the communication


13. Proactively manage performance in order to maximize the coverage of ZAIN

14. Activities and ensure that its activities are correctly presented to the media

15. Communicate the daily and weekly press book reports with evaluation

16. Manage the media at selected events

17. Recognize new media business opportunities and push for execution according to matching audience or target groups.

18. Annually develop/recruit a brand strengthening mediator
19. Any other task by manager

What Do You Need to Qualify

PERSON SPECIFICATION


Qualifications/Experience:
  • Educated to Degree level
  • Relevant Professional Marketing/Business qualification is mandatory
  • Minimum 3 years previous experience of Senior Marketing role (Media/ PR) in a private sector organisation is mandatory
  • International management experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate in Arabic and English is mandatory

Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of all elements of the Marketing Mix
  • In-depth understanding of the Sudan market and ZAIN business strategy, goals and competitive environment
  • In-depth knowledge of current best practice Marketing methods and approaches
  • Relevant IT understanding
  • Mobile Telecommunications product/market knowledge
