Recruitment Specialist

Zain Bahrain is actively recruiting for the role of Recruitment Specialist. In this role, you will be attracting, screen and recruit applicants to Zain’s vacancies and carrying out all associated administration.
Your responsibilities will also include, but not be limited to, the following:
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate lists of jobs, vacancies, and headcount within Zain to be able to identify staffing needs.
  • Develop a new job description when positions are created.
  • Review and update existing job descriptions.
  • Advertise all vacancies internally through Zain’s intranet and externally via Zain Career portal and other channels.
  • Meet staffing requirements by attracting, sourcing and screening applicants via all recruitment channels.
  • Screen applications received to identify the most suitable applicants for available vacancies.
  • Carry out all administrative arrangements for those attending the selection processing, including interview scheduling, testing, etc.
  • Analyse recruitment pool data to make a smarter recruitment decision and continuously optimize the pipeline.
  • Create a wonderful candidate experience for all candidates during the recruitment process in which maintains employer of choice branding position.
  • Liaise with all external parties (e.g. MoL, Universities, Institutes, etc.) to fulfill the recruitment process needs.
  • Finalize candidate's interview results and selection decisions with the Recruitment Manager.
  • Communicate regret emails to unsuccessful candidates.
  • Carry out all onboarding procedures and documentation for new joiners before/on their joining date to ensure smooth joining.
  • Ensure that onboarding and induction are undertaken in a way that immediately engages and supports new joiners.
  • Participate in managing recruitment expenditure effectively and in line with available budget.
  • Prepare and provide the headcount report on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Coordinate employees’ assignments, interdepartmental transfers, and rotations.
  • Prepare the recruitment annual budget and review it on a quarterly basis with the Recruitment Manager.
  • Prepare salaries and packages with selected candidates whenever is requested.
  • Reconcile time and attendance records whenever is requested.
  • Ensure that exit interview data is captured, analyzed, and factored appropriately into recruitment & retention strategies.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned or needed.

What Do You Need to Qualify

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or any relative field of study.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of recruitment or HR experience.
  • HR professional qualifications are preferred.
  • Bahraini national.
