Cybersecurity Management Specialist - Zain Cash

Description

Will be in charge of keeping an eye out for, identifying, and handling cybersecurity issues and threats. In order to protect our financial systems and consumer data, this function entails monitoring security logs, doing vulnerability assessments, and putting security measures in place. Working with cross-functional teams, the Threat Management Specialist will make sure that industry standards and best practices are followed.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Monitor security alerts and events and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Analyze security logs and data to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security solutions.
  • Participate in incident response and recovery efforts.
  • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
  • Cybersecurity specialists often define who has access to different parts of a system.
  • They set up protection for servers, establishing security measures like firewalls and antivirus software.
  • They monitor the latest threats in cybersecurity to remain up to date on the best protective strategies.
  • When security advancements are called for, they map out plans and implement upgrades.
  • They conduct regular audits to pinpoint weaknesses in the cybersecurity posture.
  • They evaluate security problems as they arise and develop the best ways to resolve them.
  • They maintain and improve technical knowledge through continuing education opportunity.
  • Specialists keep their teams up to date on current cybersecurity posture, which helps team members contribute to the overall cybersecurity of a business. For example, teams might provide anti-phishing training.

What Do You Need to Qualify

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 7 – 10 Years and above of professional Cybersecurity.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CSSLP.
  • Hands-on experience with application security tools and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security concepts and technologies.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and SDLC.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Problem solving.
