Customer Value Management Postpaid

Summary Role:
Supports the CVM Postpaid Senior in the development and execution of commercially attractive, below the line, postpaid customer value management, acquisitions and retention products, services and campaigns that cater to the consumer segment. The CVM postpaid aids in the definition of the strategy, analyzes trends and customer preferences, and often leads the documentation effort concerning concept papers, value propositions, product specifications. Additionally, will be required to coordinate with various stakeholders across Zain to help ensure the consistent and timely production of initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support with customer base segmentation analysis in coordination / with support of analytics teams to identify micro-segment targets for BTL campaigns.

  • Research industry trends (loyal programs, retention programs, churn mitigation efforts etc.) on customer value / base management to identify and respond to developments relevant to Zain.

  • Support in the plan and design of postpaid stimulation programs that cover micro segmentation within the consumer base especially as part of quarterly and monthly targets aiming to achieve the revenue uptake.

  • Support the development and documentation of product architectural designs, concept papers, and lend support to product production throughout the pipeline (marcom, technical, sales agent trainings, etc.).

  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders including internal Marketing (Budgeting, Planning , and Customer Insights and CVM, devices, functions etc.) as well Non-Marketing departments (Technical, Business Intelligence, Legal, Sales etc.) to help ensure successful and timely product launches.

  • Liaise with marketing functions (Budgeting, Planning and Customer Insights) to develop deeper understanding of base trends and behavior, as well as competition developments in order support the development of customer value propositions for new acquisition related offerings, promotions and campaigns.

  • Support in the sizing / profitability / feasibility study of potential opportunities for products, via value proposition and business cases presented by Segments and CVM, Analytics and other relevant teams.

  • Support in the development technical feasibility assessments and write high level technical requirements in coordination with technical, sales and legal teams.

  • Define and maintain product support materials, e.g. documentation material on product features.

  • Develop and house dated product catalog database / lookups to track historical development of services.

  • Monitor operational and financial KPIs and ensure targets are met, provide regular reporting to management.

What Do You Need to Qualify

Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of telecommunications market; strong understanding of Kuwait market is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation skills to express ideas and align stakeholders.

  • Ability to analyze a situation and produce creative, original and useful solutions.

  • Strong research skills, familiarity with benchmarking methodology.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and frame key issues.

  • High reliability in executing tasks within expected timeframe and to expected quality standards.

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and MS Project.

  • General knowledge in SQL.

  • General Knowledge in PowerBI.

  • Commercial background and logic.

  • General knowledge in Python.
