A full stack developer including back end technics and integration who analyzing business and Technical requirements and developing them into solutions for Business Support Systems and Customer Integration needs, as well as monitoring their performance and ensuring day-to-day smooth running of systems, in addition to analyzing deployed products and subsequently recommending upgrades to improve the functionality and performance of systems.
Also, to Perform front line activities related to installation, commissioning, repair, operation and maintenance of Services, associated equipment’s and providing the support to internal and external customers.

 Note: kindly note that this position will be located at Zain Cash (Sister company to Zain)




You will be responsible for :

  • a. Technical & Executive:
    i. Analyzing business requirements and subsequently contributing to developing them into API solutions and applications, as well as testing and integrating them to current systems and contributing to the optimization of implemented systems and tools.
    ii. Align provided solutions with all related parties and functions, such as compliance commitment, financial impacts, central bank rules and Anti Money Laundry procedures.
    iii. Enhance development aspects to be more dynamic and agile with business needs.
    iv. Monitoring the performance of servers and applications and ensuring they are running smoothly on daily basis, as well as analyzing deployed products and subsequently reporting developmental areas to improve functionality of systems.
    v. Administering and maintaining customer touch points including Zain cash Portals, Zain Cash Mobile APPs…etc. as well as communicating requirements to vendors and ensuring that problems are followed up and resolved in a timely manner.
    vi. Providing end users with required training for systems and applications deployed to end users and handling their complaints and inquiries to ensure proper utilization of the concerned systems.
    vii. perform acceptance testing procedures for new solutions, systems and services.
    viii. Maintaining systems/services availabilities and monitor their utilizations.
    b. Security:
    i. Identifying and communicating liabilities to responsible parties and ensuring that only authorized parties’ access and/ or modify systems, applications, and information.
    ii. Assessing organizational security threats and their impact and taking actions to eliminate/ reduce risk areas.
    iii. Setting security controls according to the confidentiality and sensitivity levels and report security breaches.



  • Job Specifications:
    A. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.    
    B. Experience: Minimum:

    i. 4-5 Years .Net development using C# language.
    ii. 4-5 Years Experience in WCF / Web APIs.
    iii. Familiar in IIS, Windows servers configuration.
    iv. Familiar in Redundancy and Hosting maintenance Operations.
    v. Familiar in Network setup, and design architecture.
    vi. Familiar in UNIX, Linux use for administration and shell scripting.
    vii. Good knowledge in database like MySQL, SQL, Oracle
    viii. Good knowledge in FINTECH (payments and Credit card is a plus).

  • C. Certifications: Preferred: MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer) or similar certification.

    vi. Information Security Management: Possesses comprehensive understanding of information security policies, is aware of disclosure risks, and capable of performing data recovery tasks in emergencies.
    vii. Initiative: Does more than what is usually required by a situation without being directed or monitored.
    viii. Research & Data Gathering: Possesses the ability to utilize research tools within relevant and commonly known information sources to collect and organize information.
    ix. System Administration: Possesses the ability and skill to configure, manage, and maintain complex systems’ hardware and software, in addition to the ability to identify and resolve problems, prevent future problems, and implement recovery plans in case of emergencies.
    x. Troubleshooting & Consultation: Able to understand complex processes, breaks them down into smaller phases in order to analyze complications, as well as suggests any anticipated improvements on the process phases.
    xi. Vendor Management: Possesses the ability to work effectively with vendors and manage and control vendor relationships in an adequate manner.
