What?

The job is responsible for overseeing the Business Development department including Business Development, Sales Footprint and Guidelines, and Sales Regional Support.

How?

Strategy Management:

Set related section performance objectives, in coordination with head of related department, and continuously monitor progress and development towards organizational and section strategic objectives and communicate periodic performance reports to provide evaluation results and recommend improvements                          

Function and Team Management:

Implement and suggest improvement to related section policies, process and standard operating procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled                         

Review key performance indicators results, suggest improvement and ensure corrective actions are implemented as needed               

Planning and Business Development Support :

Participate in articulating comprehensive project plans for shop in shop / indirect sales project roll out and develop effective project scope, objectives and processes                             

Evaluate regional POSs productivity levels, identify challenges / issues and develop / update go to market plans and POSs expansion plan                      

Participate in the development of indirect sales department policies, processes and SLAs               

Develop new outlet footprint and development plans based on business cases in coordination with relative Sectors and follow-up projects execution and deliverables                           

 Business Development  Management:

Manage corporate business development efforts to develop new revenue streams, establish partnerships and relationships (e.g. mobile virtual network operators(MVNOs)) and provide enhanced customer experience                           

Business Opportunities Identification:

Manage selected corporate and cross-functional studies to identify business development initiatives                       

Monitor and report on industry and emerging trends in order to capture new business opportunities                      

Support internal culture of open communication in order to identify business opportunities based on employee feedback                            

Communicate with relevant Sectors to assess the viability of new business opportunities based on available resources                               

Strategic Partnerships and Alliances Management:

Identify and manage strategic partnerships and alliances and develop new partnerships to grow the business                      

Alignment Management:

Manage internal and external alignment initiatives (briefings and alignment sessions) to ensure open communication and transfer of knowledge                          

Diversified Customer Interaction:

Develop wide geographic sales and customer service footprint and diversified customers interaction points                          

Sales Regional Support Management:

Direct the Sales Regional Support section including cash management and shortages prevention.               

Indirect Sales Project Management :

Develop case studies and business cases for all new opprtunities / projects planned to support indirect channels                

Review and challenge indirect sales project management plans and milestones based on previous experience and lessons learned                

Review periodic reports submitted by subordinates, assess prgress against pre-set KPIs / milestones and provide feedback / recommendations for improvement or issues handling                            

Manage and follow operational issues taken place between indirect sales teams and supporting functions and escalate when needed to implement necessary solutions                               

Indirect Sales Events Management :

Review periodical indirect sales channels performance reports to identify gaps and recomend all necessary improvement options and plans                               

Manage all indirect sales events and gifts promotions developed for traders and partners                             

People Management:

Motivate staff, assist in conducting the performance and conduct guidance on training programs to maximize employees' performance            

What do I need?

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent

A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a similar role
