WHAT?

The job holder is responsible for managing financial performance and providing costing and profitability decision support for Zain commercial products and services, channels and commissions and CAPEX.           

HOW?

Strategy Management:

Develop performance objectives in coordination with Directorate and continuously conduct progress towards Departmental and strategic objectives and implement periodic performance reports to offer evaluation results and recommend improvements                        

Department and Team Management:

Implement improvements to policies and procedures in order to deliver high-quality services                      

Carry-out the day-to-day operations, offer expertise, encourage teamwork and coordinate work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employee

 

Business Plans Development :

Coordinate with Strategy and Business Development on the development of the long-term strategic business plan in order to track the performance of Zain                  

Planning and Costing Evaluation :

Evaluate the business cases of new products, services or network including pricing and budgets for new services and products and provide recommendations from a financial and budgetary perspective                                                       

Costing Structure and Reporting System Development:

Develop a standardized costing structure and reporting system to meet international requirements for cost allocation and other regulatory requirements                         

Cross-Charging Execution:

Execute a cross-charging support in order to provide an accurate posting of all Service Level Agreement (SLA)- related costs                     

Profitability and Cost Optimization Analysis:

Develop Capex and Opex profitability reports and conduct Zain profitability and cost optimization analysis in order to create future benefits

Sectors Output Analysis:

Implement outputs analyses and reports needed for Sectors operations and profitability enhancement                  

Profitability Assessment:

Supervise the evaluation of agreements with corporate customers by calculating the profitability per customer to assess profit                      

Profits and Costs Analysis :

Conduct detailed costing models and profitability analysis for existing and proposed pre-paid and post-paid products in line with regulations in order to forecast profits                           

Costing System Assessment:

Review and assess the functional requirements of the costing system and update/develop standard and non-standard reports for decision-making purposes

 

Revaluation Forecasting:

Forecast revaluations effects on different services in order to identify solutions that prevent value decrease                         

Accounting Separation Implementation:

Supervise the implementation of accounting separation guidelines and generate reports to ensure all costs are allocated to the correct cost centers                       

Commission Analysis:

Update the commission's model related to employee, dealers and other commissions on a periodic basis               

ROI Monitoring:

Prepare Return on Investment (ROI) business cases and follow-up in order to monitor projects performance                        

Budget Variance Detection and Resolution:

Review and analyze reports related to budget impacts and coordinate with related department for variance resolution                               

Recommendations Provision:

Analyze, evaluate and develop provide recommendations for complex budget and financial management issues                 

People Management:

Develop and motivate staff, conduct the performance, give formal and informal feedback and appraisals and conduct guidance on training programs to maximize employees' performance

 

WHAT DO I NEED?

Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree is Preferable in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent

A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a similar role
