What

Handling all Zain Bahrain suppliers financial and providing financial information to management by researching and analysing accounting data; preparing reports.

How

You will be responsible for:

  • Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions.
  • Maintain, review and monitor the general ledger accounts.
  • Record and continuously update supplier accounts through liaising with other functions.
  • Close all open/un-reconciled supplier accounts by conducting periodic reconciliations.
  • Process invoices and payments by verifying documentation and disbursement requests.
  • Settle suppliers claims in a timely manner, keeping into accounts debit and credit notes chargeable/receivable to/from suppliers.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
  • Reconcile purchase orders/receipts to ensure balance between ordered and received goods
  • Maintain and control fixed assets register and conduct assets closing and reconciliation between virtual and physical inventory.
  • Maintain fixed assets acquisitions and dispositions records in the accounting system.
  • Manage the accounting details and activities for real estate leases.
  • Track lease changes and make sure that it’s tallying with property system.
  • Prepare all related journal entries, schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations including prepaid rent, straight line rent, subtenant rent, and CAM accruals related to new and existing leases.
  • Maintain all original contracts and update contract summaries (Prepayments & Accruals) on a monthly and need basis.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Carry out department administrative requirements.
  • Perform any job-related task as assigned or needed.

Who do we need

  • Bahraini national.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or accounting related field of study.

  • CPA or ACCA certified.

  • Minimum 2-4 years of relative experience.
