WHAT

As Warehouse Specialist in Zain SD you will be reporting Logistics Inbound Operation Team Leader to supports in the movement and storage of customer product according to Zain Logistics policy and processes.

 

HOW

Your main tasks & responsibilities will be:-

  • Insure compliance with all applicable policies & regulatory requirements on Information Security.
  •  Maintain standard operating Procedures for Inbound Logistics.
  • Ensure accuracy of dispatched product by visual inspection, counting, scanning and other techniques.
  • Supports the 3PL in the process of returned goods.
  • Participate in currier management processes, such as selection, qualification, and performance evaluation.
  • Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics.
  •  Support the 3PL in fleet utilization and optimization, carrier compliance, claims, equipment management, resource allocation, utilizing routing tool, execution of area/region contingency plans, creation of ad hoc contingency plans.
  • Supports the 3PL in analyzing the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
  • Ensure distribution contractors provide high quality and timely services according to agreed SLA.
  • Supports the 3PL in each order to ensure products get properly picked, packaged, and shipped out to customers.
  • Ensure smooth operation of LFS (WMS) and coordinate with technology department for online support as well as physical support on site.
  • Expert in par cod design and tagging and labeling operation
  • Expert in packing, repacking kiting and wrapping with real experience to support 3PL to operate the advanced machines for this purpose    
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

What do I need

You will be required to have:-

    • B.Sc. in a relevant field.
    • Knowledge of SCM.
    • Ability to communicate in Arabic and English is mandatory.
    • Minimum 1-2 year previous experience in SCM.
    • Good computer skills. ( Microsoft office).

You are also required to have the following :-

 

  • Understanding logsitics policy, procedures and processes.
  • Understanding of the Sudan market and ZAIN business strategy, goals and competitive environment.
  • Relevant system understanding (ERP, WMS, DMS, TMS & FMS).
