WHAT?

The jobs in this level are responsible for involvement in the day-to-day activities of the department to ensure proper accomplishment of HR activities as per set policies and procedures.

HOW?

 Functional and Team Management:

  • Implement and suggest improvements to the Human Resources Development policies and procedures.                                         
  • Carry out assigned activities in specified area with minimal direct supervision .                                          
  • Supervise and coach team members to ensure optimal performance is achieved and provide improvement recommendations as required .           
  • Develop HR development-related reports related to HR metrics, learning and development initiative, employee performance management system implementation, etc. for decision-making purposes   .      

HR Strategy, Policy & Systems Management:

  • Study change requests for HR documentation and Sectors restructuring and provide recommendations .                                    
  • Assist in updating HR documentation, organization structure, job descriptions, job families, career framework, manpower plan model, and compensation and benefits schemes, monitor implementation, and provide support when needed.                                          
  • Implement promotions and transfers, salary adjustments, yearly merit, and yearly bonus based on management decisions .                              

Talent Development:

  • Identify potential internal candidates for vacancies from talent pool                                    
  • Coordinate internally to identify competencies required for jobs within each Sector and participate in monitoring the effective usage of the Zain competency dictionary.              
  • Plan individual career path for Zain achieving employees according to organization future needs and  as per Zain career progression policy.                                   

Employee Performance Management:

  • Facilitate individual objective setting at the beginning of year for performance evaluation purposes.                                 
  • Facilitate probation period reviews, Q1 and Q3 reviews, mid-year reviews, and end-of-year reviews for performance evaluation purposes.                         
  • Participate in the resolution of employee grievances to ensure satisfaction. 

Learning and Development:

  • Follow-up to ensure that all Zain employees have individual development plans and monitor implementation                                     
  • Develop the annual training plan of Zain in line with training needs and organizational requirements                                  
  • Develop and maintain the training catalogue to keep track of training needs                                          
  • Develop talent mobility secondments                                
  • Manage COOP, summer students and other interns for development purposes                                          
  • Manage graduate recruitment programmes to develop graduates                                        
  • Research and analyze potential suppliers for technical and non-technical training programs/courses                                     

Engagement and Culture:

  • Communicate surveys and follow-up on data collection.               
  • Assist in analysis of survey results and provide recommendations for corrective action.               
  • Coordinate for the organization of cultural events to engage employees .              

WHAT DO I NEED ?

  • Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration, Human Resources or Equivalent                            
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a similar role
