What

Facilities Manager will be accountable for HR & Admin Senior Director to make sure that all Zain SD buildings/ premises and their services meet the needs of the employees who work in them.

Facilities Manager will be responsible for buildings maintenance, electricity, air conditioning, cleaning, security and parking, etc...  To ensure that the surrounding environment is suitable for work, securing the healthy and comfortable condition to all Zain SD staff

How

If you hold this position your main tasks and responsibilities will be :-

  • Monitor and oversee building maintenance activities, including electrical, mechanical, painting, carpentry, cleaning, as well as tracking and managing warrantees for all equipment.
  • Responsible s for   any renovations and offices movements to ensure that they all run smoothly and according to the plan.

  • Participate in purchasing and buildings acquisition, shops and spaces needed by the company, for various purposes (set aside for towers and stations), furnishing them with the required furniture and equipment.

  • Manage, plan, and direct a broad range of services that allow organizations to operate efficiently. 

  • Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of buildings to ensure that they meet health and safety standards and the legal requirements.

  • Manage and overseas the cleaning, waste disposal, catering, and security and parking of each site.

  • To be fully accountable for the Zain facility management operational budget – its control, management, monitoring and reporting on variances.

  • Responsible for managing the facility management   operational systems and make sure that they are up and running smoothly.

  • Oversee the preparation, analysis, negotiation, and review of contracts related to the purchase or sale of equipment, materials, supplies, products, and services.

  • Assisting the department in project management, cost optimization and implementing business expansion plans plus ensuring timely implementation of the project.

  • Oversee the acquisition, installation and commissioning of equipment that are required from venders for the facility management systems, air conditioning etc.

  • Obtain quotes and tenders from facility management vendors and suppliers, calculate and compare costs for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness.

  • Negotiate contracts related to facility management to optimize delivery and cost saving, coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers.

  • Laisse and manage contractors and vendors relationships within the facility management scope.

  • Manage and review service contracts to ensure that facility management needs are being met.

  • Managing repair, maintenance & replacement of office equipment’s, appliances, furniture, furnishings, vehicles, building, etc.,

  •  Lead facility management processes, documentation, business control checks, audits etc.  

  • Monitor all letters which come to the company, from the localities and the competent authorities; which are concerned with the locality fees, after making the needed negotiations with them, to avoid any interruptions for the work continuity further more to ensure that payments adapted to the local legislations.

  • Manage  and ensure that the completion of payments  concern consumption expenses and all other fees required by the concerned bodies  in respect of water, electricity, sanitation, garbage collection and all various services fees and payments as to ensure stability and continuity of supplies and services.

  • Manage and monitor the scope of work, details, specifications & drawings for all activities in all Zain SD premises. 

  • To be fully accountable for the quality, accuracy timeliness and effectiveness of facility management statistical reports.

  • Generate and present regular reports and reviews of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures and purchases.

  • To contribute to the effective management, motivation and development of the team resources by liaising closely with key line management personnel and other relevant parties within the Facility Management department  to ensure that problems/issues are identified and resolved or appropriately escalated at an early stage .

  • Coach and support Facility Management team members and set yearly targets for subordinates and conduct performance reviews on regular basis.

  • Manage and develop staff within the Facility Management.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies & regulatory requirements on Information Security.

What Do I Need

 

  • B.S.c in Civil, Electrical ,Architecture or Mechanical Engineering

     

  • MBA or any professional business qualification is preferable

     

  • Minimum 5 years of total experience with at least 3 years in management roles.

     

  • Experience in Auto Cad drawing.

     

  • Excellent understanding and knowledge fo rcomplex electrical, mechanical and automation system

     

  • Implementation and Audit of ISO9001/ ISO27001 based ISMSis preferable

     

  • Financial planning ,contracting , budgeting and costing for telecom facility management

     

  • Business cases development & business requirement analysis capabilities

     

  • Experience in developing business processes, SLA’s, KPI’s and business rules

     

  • Experience in project management

     

  • Mobile Telecommunications background is desirable
