WHAT ?

The  jobs in this level are expected to have an understanding of internal customer needs and key work procedures. The jobs provide advice and guidance in specific areas of HR operations.

HOW ?

Compliance:

  • Implement and suggest improvements to the Human Resources Operations policies and procedures                            
  • Carry out assigned activities in specified area with minimal direct supervision                                           
  • HR Operations:
  • Supervise and coach team members to ensure optimal performance is achieved and provide improvement recommendations as required .                              
  • Provide assistance in implementation of small-scale human resources improvement projects and provide an update on their progress on a periodic basis                                 
  • Generate reports on employment terminations/investigation progresses, HR administration services (leave, attendance, etc.), payroll for decision making purposes                                        
  • Assist in analyzing all HR operations reports pertaining to identify areas for improvement                                

Recruitment:

  • Screen candidates applications/CVs to filter out applications that do not meet qualification criteria and ensure that rejected candidates are informed                              
  • Conduct interviews with candidates applying for high-level positions                                   
  • Correct the recruitment assessments and perform analysis for selection purposes                                        
  • Draft employment contracts for official and outsourced employees                                      
  • Conduct analysis of recruitment and vacancies data for the generation of periodical and ad-hoc reports                                

HR Services:

  • Prepare necessary documents for the investigation of disciplinary action                             
  • Validate leave requests, vacation carry-over, etc. as per set policies                                      
  • Implement the resignation and clearance processes as per set policies and procedures and in coordination with internal stakeholders                                      
  • Conduct exit interview with departing high-level employees to understand reasons for end-of-employment                            

Payroll:

  • Calculate end-of-service settlements for exiting employees                                     
  • Validate incentives and commissions and communicate eligibility for allowances for Zain employees                              
  • Handle GOSI payment for retirement purposes                              
  • Employee On-boarding and Communication:
  • Assist in the development of monthly communication plan for internal awareness purposes                                  
  • Develop complex communication briefs for internal communication purposes                                          
  • Conduct the induction program for new joiners in low organization levels to ensure proper integration                                       
  • Assist in the assessment of Onboarding experience and provide improvement opportunities                                
  • Travel Support  Manage crises, emergencies and last-minute changes to provide and assist all staff with respect to their emergency travel requests                                          
  • Review additional amounts details and forward to HR Payroll for deduction when employees exceed travel eligibilities                                       
  • Build and maintain a good relationship with various vendors (travel agencies, hotels, transportation service providers) to support operations                              
  • Monitor the performance of vendors through reviewing achievements against SLAs and recommend corrective actions if required                                     
  • Keep expanding and improving vendors base through opening new channels and negotiating better prices and added services                                         
  • Identify and participate in negotiating employee deals and corporate rates with vendors                                 

                                                         

WHAT DO I NEED ?

Bachelor's Degree ofBusiness Administration, Human Resources or Equivalent

Qualifications .                                             

A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a similar role.
