About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate candidate to Handle the supply chain operations, including forecasting, planning, purchasing and distribution, of Zain commercial products such as SIM & scratch cards, broadband devices, and handsets, in addition to monitoring the stock and resolving inventory related issues as well as planning of warehouse operations and ensuring adherence to set procedures and policies.

Main Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Coordinating all logistic operations required to ensure smooth flow of equipment and services in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Monitoring and maintaining stock of SIM cards, SIM packs, recharge cards, broadband devices, handsets, accessories, and bundles as well as obtaining TRC (Telecommunication Regulatory Commission) approval and testing samples before activation.

  • Reviewing inventory reports and forecast information to plan orders to ensure the provision of adequate supply of materials.

  • Monitoring the quality, cost and efficiency of inventory movement and storage in addition to analyzing data and investigating logistical challenges and problems to identify areas of improvements.

  • Executing periodic audits on third party Logistics and Zain warehouses to ensure operations’ compliance to Zain policies and procedures and achieve process efficiency.

  • Preparing periodic and annual stock counts in coordination with all concerned departments to clear any inconsistencies as well as resolving any inventory related problems that may arise.

  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers in coordination with procurement and following up regarding defective and nonmoving items.

  • Following up daily production planning activities for commercial items such as kits and bundles and performing all related system transaction.

  • Performing daily Scratch Cards, SIM Cards, and Starter kits data generation and activation processes as per company policies.

What We Need From You

To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to comply with all of the below requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field.

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
