Role Propose

Zain Iraq is Actively recruiting to hire Human Capital PMO Expert who is responsible to support the Chief HC Officer (CHCO) in a hybrid role combining project management, departmental coordination, and executive assistance. This role is critical in driving strategic HC initiatives, ensuring operational efficiency across the HC Division, and enabling effective decision-making at the leadership level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the CHCO in planning, executing, and monitoring key HC strategic projects.

  • Track deliverables, timelines, and KPIs for HC initiatives across functions (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, OD, etc.).

  • Prepare project dashboards, progress updates, and executive presentations.

  • Identify bottlenecks and escalate issues proactively to ensure timely delivery.

  • Act as the operational backbone of the HC Division by supporting cross-functional alignment and process improvement.

  • Coordinate internal communications and ensure team-wide visibility on key priorities.

  • Maintain HC documentation, policies, and process updates.

  • Work closely with department heads to consolidate reports, plans, and updates.

  • Manage the CHCO’s calendar, travel arrangements, and internal/external meeting coordination.

  • Prepare high-quality briefing notes, agendas, and minutes for key meetings.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Support in following up on leadership decisions, action items, and communication.

Education, Experience and Competencies

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or a related field.

 

Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience in a similar blended role (HR, Project Management, or Executive Support).

  • Strong project management skills with experience in agile or fast-paced environments.

  • Exceptional communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.

  • High level of discretion and professionalism.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with project management tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with HR leaders or in HR departments.

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile).

  • Experience supporting C-level executives.
