Basic Purpose:

Analyses processes,systems and sub sytems to improve the operational and financial effectiveness of the divisions. Extracts financial data from various accounting and information systems. Performs financial and accounting analysis of data. . Utilizes knowledge of the Company's financial/technical systems.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the analysis of financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability. This invloves direct hand on experience on TABS,Datawarehouse & Oracle Financials
  • Participates in developing financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis in order for effective decision making
  • Preparation of Monthly Financial statements (balance sheet and cash flow) in accordance with IFRS along with reasons for fluctuations in balances
  • Preparation of forecasted financials statements at the end of every quarter and adhoc reporting requiremnets by the management,Monthly Variance analysis report for management for reviewing expenses in order to effectively make decisions
  • Preparation of Reports and analysis on CAPEX expenditure to determine the flow of ecoProvide technical accounting support throughout the organization. Research and document accounting issues, relevant accounting guidance, and company's conclusionsnomic benefits in the future and to prepare cost benefit analysis
  • Prepares a report on errors not identified in the genaeral ledger to avoid any duplications or errors. This will usually involve review of all modules ( Revenue, receivables, payables, treasury) to ensure proper entries are recorded in the GL
  • Participates in review of existing financial modules to ensure a proper audit trail exists from the time a transaction is initiated to the time it is approved. Every transaction should be traceable and properly described in the system


Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Financial Accounting or any relevant major
