Handling media and advertising campaigns, acting as a primary contact with external media agencies, vendors, and service providers, as well as supporting in identifying the media and advertising needs for new products and services provided by marketing segment owners.
-Monitoring and analyzing the media market place to identify new trends, opportunities, threats, and new technologies.
-Researching and analyzing international counterparts in the telecommunication sector to acquire insights about their marketing and advertising campaigns.
-Analyzing and studying marketing communication briefs developed by segment owners, and developing media plan in coordination with concerned vendors and advertising agencies while adhering to quality standards and meeting lunching timeframes.
-Participating in media and advertising discussions with segment owners, and providing recommendation regarding effective techniques and marketing channels to use in approaching targeted customers.
Working with service providers on developing plans and media strategies for newly developed products/ services, presenting them to segment owners, and subsequently amending plans to meet segment owner’s requirements.
-Acting as the primary contact with external media agencies, which include following up on development and implementation of media and advertising projects from the purchase stage and to post analysis stage.
-Managing and facilitating the execution of media and advertising plans within the assigned budget, which include handling purchase requisition and media payments, communicating and negotiating with vendors and service providers in regards to billing issues and disputes resolution.
-Monitoring and evaluating the market response to media and advertising projects/ campaigns in order to identify their success and failure rates, and improve employed techniques and tools for future projects, in addition to documenting market activities and campaigns results for future reference.
-Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
Experience & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
