Our Recruitment Process

  1. Applications will only be accepted online, CVs sent by fax, email or post will not considered. Please see our FAQs section for more details.
  2. All communications with applicants will be done primarily by email.
  3. All vacancies across the company go through a formal review and approval process before they are published to the career site.
  4. Whenever a new vacancy is published on the career site, an email is automatically sent to all registered users who have registered “Job agents” for that job category and/or location.
  5. A vacancy on the career site will remain open for 30 calendar days on average.
  6. When you apply for a vacancy, you will be prompted to fill in a series of competency questions to determine your suitability for the role. You may also be asked to provide more information and attach documents, depending on the requirements for the vacancy.
  7. If you successfully complete the application, you will be sent an acknowledgement email within a few minutes.
  8. All applicants are reviewed first by the recruitment team.
  9. Applicants who do not meet the minimum requirements for the vacancy will be sent a regret letter by email within 2-3 working days of the application.
  10. Applicants who have been deemed unsuitable for the vacancy after first line screening will be notified within 5-7 working days of the application.
  11. Other applicants who make it past the first line screening are then forwarded to the Line Manager for review.
  12. Depending on Line Manager feedback, applicants will either be sent a regret letter or an invitation to interview. This email will be sent within 15 days of completing the application.
  13. Typically, an interview will be scheduled within a week of sending the interview invitation. The applicant must confirm the appointment by replying to the email.
  14. The interview team will provide their feedback on the applicant within 3 working days of the interview. Based on their feedback, the applicant will be either sent a regret letter or an offer letter.
  15. In certain cases, subsequent interviews, psychometric tests and/or assessments may be conducted before an offer is made. The recruitment team will contact the applicant to schedule an appointment.
  16. Zain reserves the right to conduct reference checks on applicants, including business & personal references and on submitted documents.
  17. All applicants will receive a notification of their final status within 30 working days of having made the application.
